History of Marlin Coast Bowls Club
The journey for Marlin Coast Bowls Club commenced in 1979 when it was first suggested that a lawn bowls club be established on the northern beaches.
In August 1984 the inaugural committee was elected at which time the final agreements for land and plans were achieved.
In October 1985 work commenced to start the process of clearing land and the construction on the green and club house.
The official opening of the club was on Saturday 29th August, 1987
Due the efforts of the dedicated club volunteers, over the years there have been major improvements to the club and green, so that it now has an artificial green and all weather roof.
